Prologue

So, it's Friday night. Wow, it's been a long day. And it will be a longer night. Just to give you a glimpse of what I'm working with tonight...



Grandma, I'm sorry...I swear my apartment doesn't always look like this...It's just- oh, who am I kidding. I need visitors to give me 45-minute notice before showing up in order to make the place "presentable."

So, I'm cleaning. Well, right now I'm blogging. But I will be cleaning. Soon. And then packing. And then putting together the checklist I told myself that I would put together on Thursday.

But, so here it is. My blog. I'm excited, nervous- I don't really know how to feel. I'm leaving, for an entire month. It kinda' hit me today at work- like, wow, I will not spend any of June 2008 in the United States. It's a total trip.
